Vega Brand Challenge 2013

Hyundia,

Expect the Unexpected,

Retail campaign.

My second year of Brand Challanges at Vega School of Brand Leadership saw me, along with my team of two strategist, one visual communicator and a copy-writer, be briefed to revive a brands two enty level car in the eyes of the young drivers market.

The challange was to create a retail campaign that would draw in a younger target audience into buying the Hyundai i10 and i20 models. My team and myself developed a campaign that played on well know South African stereotypes that had a humerous twist. This would not only appeal to the funny bone of the younger market but also create a culture around the cars and the brand itself, where you can expect the unexpected in a Hyundai. 

 

For this breif I did all the photography for the print adverts and collaberated with the team visual communicator on the print layout and overall design.
